Balance and Harmony with Dr Pier Tsui-Po’s Unique Acupuncture Chi Balancing Technique

Does Your Chi Need Re-Balancing?

In acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Chi (Qi in mandarin) is the vital energy that makes life and living possible; it is the vital life force that keeps you healthy, helps you function at your full capacity, and resists disease or illness so you live a long, healthy and happy life.

Your Chi is your physical, mental and spiritual make up. So your health is based on the quality of your Chi – whether it is flowing smoothly in the right place at the right time, whether it is well balanced or how well it is nourished.

Through its movements, changes and transformations, Chi can be the cause of both health and disease. For example, when Chi flow is obstructed, there is stagnation that causes pain, poor digestion, irritability, fatigue, or inflammation – this state of disharmony affects the quality of blood, blood flow and body fluids causing illness and poor health.

How do you know if your Chi need re-balancing?

Your chi need re-balancing if you notice any of the following:

  • poor memory, lack of concentration, no will power
  • poor sleep, restless sleep, nightmares
  • easily catch a cold or the flu, get reinfected often
  • poor digestion, reflux, loose stools, constipation
  • frequent urination or excess bowel movements
  • pain of any type, anywhere in the body
  • easily stressed, anxiety, panic attacks
  • tired all the time, feel unwell
  • irritable, angry, unhappy, moody
  • overweight, unfit, or fitness does not improve with exercise
  • inflammation, hot all the time, easily cold
  • have been ill for a while
  • cannot get well

How Chi Balancing works

Illness or disease is the product of disrupted, blocked, or unbalanced Chi movement through the body's meridians, as well as deficiencies or imbalances of Chi in various organs and systems such as your Immune, Nervous and Hormonal systems.

Pier Tsui-Po’s unique Chi Balancing Technique with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine has been developed over his 21 years of clinical practice. He aims to regulate the flow of Chi, Blood and Fluids in the meridians and organs, remove blockages, strengthen your body’s Protective Chi, lessen the virulence of excesses and build your body’s Nutritive Chi with herbs specially formulated to suit you individually. Once this is achieved, the balance of Yin and Yang is restored, your body returns to a state of health and your internal energies are strengthened to fight off illness or infections.

Whilst a variety of therapeutic techniques such as tai chi, qi gong, kung fu and some diets have been successfully used to relieve imbalances by adjusting the circulation of Chi, Traditional Chinese medicine offers a deeper power, with the tools for early detection, prevention and treatment of many age-related dysfunction and disease.

Stop illness before it begins

You must be proactive. You don’t have to be ill or in pain to improve your quality of life. Consider this quote from the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine, the oldest medical book written over 2,500 year ago, which is still in use today.

"To administer medicine to diseases already developed is comparable to the behaviour of people who begin to dig a well after they have become thirsty"

If you would like to maintain good health or prevent disease, avoid the impact of stress on your mind and body, and work towards a long, healthy and happy life, you can schedule an appointment for a course of treatment by calling Sally at our acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinic in Berwick, telephone 9796-2388.
